Aussie Home Loans
Event Details
Hey Everyone!
My Name is Sam, I am a mortgage broker for Aussie Home Loans.
Earlier this year, sadly I lost my Mum to Pancreatic cancer. It was a shock, out of the blue and very unexpected. She was diagnosed on the 15th of May 2021 and passed away on the 29th of April 2022.
Unfortunately, pancreatic cancer is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia. Pancreatic cancer is often called the silent killer, and with good reason – most patients don't experience symptoms until the cancer is big enough to impact the surrounding organs.
PanKind is a charity to encourage new ideas, detect pancreatic cancer earlier, build the capacity of Australian pancreatic cancer research and find new, more effective treatments to improve outcomes for patients.
To raise awareness and support cancer research for pancreatic cancer myself, together with Aussie Modbury, Gawler, Blackwood, and Mt Barker we will all be participating in the “Put Your Foot Down” Grange to Henley walk.
Please if you could give anything, any little amount will help. It will be greatly appreciated.
Together we are tougher than cancer.
F*CK CANCER!
